Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and customer service, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure high standards of guest service are met.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to assist guests effectively.
• Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
Skills
• Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
• Proficient in phone etiquette and handling various phone systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Vernon, BC V1T 9V2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
