Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Expeditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are processed accurately and delivered promptly to guests. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Expeditor will be responsible for coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that all meals meet our quality standards before they reach our customers.

Responsibilities

Coordinate food orders between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery. Monitor the preparation of food items to ensure they meet quality standards. Assist with salad and dessert preparation as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area. Handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations. Utilize POS systems for take out and 3rd party delivery orders. Provide excellent guest services when taking take out orders and addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.

Skills

Proficient in food handling and safety practices. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills to enhance guest experiences. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members. Capable of multitasking in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace at all times.

Pay: $17.20 per hour
