We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and dining area, facilitating timely service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Duties

Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and servers to ensure timely delivery of meals. Monitor food presentation and quality before it leaves the kitchen, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to manage order flow and address any issues that arise. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to maintain health standards. Support the kitchen staff during peak hours by assisting with food preparation as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in roles related to hospitality or kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Pay: $17.20-$18.20 per hour
