We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team at Chucks Roadhouse Bar & Grill. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Monitor food preparation processes to ensure adherence to food safety and handling standards. Assist kitchen staff with order assembly, ensuring that all items are included and presented correctly. Communicate effectively with cooks and servers to facilitate smooth operations during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and requests with professionalism, providing assistance as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and expediting areas. Support cash handling and cashiering tasks as required during service periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in cashiering or cash handling is a plus. A willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team dynamic is crucial.

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
