We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Expeditor to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are processed quickly and accurately, facilitating communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Duties
Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
Ensure that all dishes meet quality standards before serving.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces.
Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to prioritize orders and address any issues that arise during service.
Provide excellent customer service by helping guests with inquiries and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.
Skills
Strong background in hospitality and food service, with experience in meal preparation preferred.
Knowledge of food handling practices to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interaction between kitchen staff and customers.
A proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining workspaces for optimal efficiency.
