The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. This role requires a strong leader with excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences. The Food & Beverage Manager will ensure that all food safety standards are met, manage team performance, and maintain effective cash handling procedures.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all activities within the restaurant to ensure smooth operations.
Lead, train, and develop staff to deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a positive team environment.
Oversee cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability in financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas of food preparation and service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal offerings.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability.
Participate in staff evaluations to enhance team performance.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel food & beverage operations is required
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Strong background in customer service with a focus on delivering an outstanding dining experience.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Experience in cash handling procedures is required, along with basic accounting knowledge related to restaurant operations.
Familiarity with cooking techniques is a plus, as well as experience supervising kitchen staff.
