About the Role
We are hiring a
Flat Roofing Apprentice
to assist senior roofers and learn the trade. This is a great opportunity for someone starting a career in commercial roofing.
What You'll Do
Assist with material preparation, transport, and installation on flat roofing projects
Learn flat roofing techniques from experienced roofers (e.g., single-ply membranes, built-up systems, etc.)
Help maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Follow and enforce safety guidelines and best practices on every project
Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning tools, organizing materials, and disposing of debris
Participate in on-the-job training and possibly in formal training / apprenticeship programs
What We're Looking For
Strong willingness to learn and grow in the roofing trade
Basic familiarity with construction tools and techniques is a plus (but not required)
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-player mindset
Physically fit: able to lift, carry, climb, and work at heights
Committed to following safety procedures and wearing PPE
Good communication skills and ability to take direction
