Position Overview

We're looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our team. No flat roofing experience is required -- we'll provide full training for the right person. Previous experience in any type of roofing or construction is an asset, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are most important.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofing systems (BUR, PVC, EPDM, torch-on, etc.) Load and unload materials, carry tools, and help set up job sites Support experienced roofers during installations and repairs Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and working at heights

Requirements

Must have

a personal vehicle that you do not share

-- many job sites are not accessible by public transit

Valid driver's license

and ability to commute across Ottawa and surrounding areas

Physically fit

-- capable of heavy lifting (100+ lbs), repetitive motions, bending, kneeling, and working on sloped surfaces

Reliable and punctual

-- we do not tolerate tardiness or unexcused absences

Positive attitude

and willingness to learn from experienced professionals Comfortable working

outdoors year-round

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.31-$39.27 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
