We are looking for a Finance Specialist who has worked in the Manufacturing Industry. The Finance Specialist will be responsible for Accounts Receivable, Financial reporting, and Report/Data analysis for both the US and Canadian entities. You must have a University/College degree in Accounting or related major and have 5+ years of strong financial acumen and knowledge of accounting principles. Extremely detail oriented you also have a working knowledge of ERP systems and Intermediate Excel skills. You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills in order to interact successfully with the accounting departments of our customers! He/She will be responsible for ensuring that our customers pay in a timely manner, coordinating payments and credits with counterpart accountants. The position is also responsible for issuing weekly reports, performing financial calculations for rebates, commissions, etc., and performing journal entries in our ERP system. Schwank is looking for a person that prides themselves on their accuracy, support, and financial acumen. The successful candidate will need to be good at building relationships with the accounting departments of our customers. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Accounts Receivable \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure timely payments and limit bad debt. \xc2\xb7 Account Deposits \xe2\x80\x93 Deposit and record of checks received and ensure accuracy of payments received. \xc2\xb7 Credit Card \xe2\x80\x93 Process payments of credit card payments from customers. \xc2\xb7 Financial Reporting \xe2\x80\x93 Prepare and review financial reports of the company for submission to management, government entities and depository banks. \xc2\xb7 Financial Accuracy \xe2\x80\x93 Prepare journal entries in our ERP system and ensure accurate transactions have taken place. Perform reconciliation of bank account and intercompany accounts. Prepare and provide requirements of the auditors. \xc2\xb7 Invoicing \xe2\x80\x93 Issue invoices promptly to our customers and sales partners. Ensure that all shipments are all accounted for. \xc2\xb7 Commissions and Rebates \xe2\x80\x93 Calculate and communicate with recipients. \xc2\xb7 Credit Line of Customers \xe2\x80\x93 Conduct credit investigation and approve credit lines. \xc2\xb7 Buying Groups \xe2\x80\x93 Submit sales reports as required. \xc2\xb7 Maintenance of Schedules of GL Accounts \xc2\xb7 Foreign Exchange Rates \xe2\x80\x93 Research, communicate, and enter exchange rates \xc2\xb7 Tax Requirements \xe2\x80\x93 Prepare needed information and assist in the returns. \xc2\xb7 Budget \xe2\x80\x93 Provide information and assist in the preparation. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 5 to 10 years of accounting experience \xc2\xb7 University or college degree in accounting or related majors \xc2\xb7 Strong financial acumen and knowledge of accounting principles \xc2\xb7 Working knowledge with ERP systems, Excel, and other reporting tools \xc2\xb7 Extremely Detail oriented \xc2\xb7 Customer oriented.
