Robertson is looking for an Expeditor to join their Purchasing Team in Vaughan.

Scope of the position:

An expeditor will ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and documentation are delivered on time to support electrical construction or maintenance projects. They act as a critical link between suppliers, project managers, and field teams to prevent delays and keep operations running smoothly.

Major Responsibilities:

Monitor and follow up on purchase orders for electrical components Communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and expedite urgent orders Resolve delays, shortages, or discrepancies in shipments Coordinate with project managers and site teams to prioritize material needs Maintain accurate records of order status, delivery timelines, and vendor performance Assist in sourcing alternate suppliers for critical or delayed items Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage incoming deliveries and inventory Participate in meetings to provide updates on material availability and logistics

Skills Qualifications:

Knowledge of electrical components is an asset Experience in electrical contracting, supply chain, or construction logistics Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors and project teams Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Problem-solving mindset to handle delays and disruptions Attention to detail for tracking orders and verifying compliance

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
