Responsibilities

Grosso McCarthy is a public relations firm in Ontario dedicated to strategy, policy, public affairs, government relations and communications exclusively for the health care sector. We are a small, but mighty team, seeking a driven, highly organized Executive Coordinatorto join our team. This is a full-time, one-year contract position (with the possibility of renewal), five days a week from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This position includes the company drug and dental benefit plan and three weeks holiday. Please apply on LinkedIn: ********************/?refId=%2BjmxICOz7evfVPBeESdx3g%3D%3D Job description: The successful candidate will carry out the duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by the firm’s Principals. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Managing the lobby registry
  • Media monitoring and summarizing announcements, communications or reports into concise communications for clients
  • Providing executive support to the Principals (ex. scheduling internal and external meetings, and supporting on meetings)
  • Conducting basic research to help inform strategic plans, briefing notes, reports, and communications for clients
  • Formatting briefing notes, presentations, client materials and GR/Communications strategies for clients
  • Interfacing with clients and stakeholders, as needed
  • Compiling report on what’s new at Queen’s Park, using existing information
  • Support in the development and formatting of proposals and contracts for clients
  • Administrative tasks (Basic office management – Ex. ordering supplies)
Skills:
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a small but dynamic environment (multitasker)
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, both orally and in writing, as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in preparing and formatting reports, PowerPoint presentations, correspondence, and documents
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, business, political science, or a related degree
  • 1 – 3 years of business or office experience in a similar role or equivalent
  • References will be required
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months Salary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits:
