STUDIO ASSISTANT (S) \xe2\x80\x8b We are looking for \xe2\x80\x9cself-starters\xe2\x80\x9d that will support the event preparation of our operation: assisting with the cleaning, organizing, packing and prepping of event d\xc3\xa9cor, furniture and signage as well oversee event rental inventory pickup and drop offs with customers at our Sydney location The ideal candidates will bring positive energy, a great attitude, and problem solving skills to its team. This is a seasonal position requiring availability Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from June- November. Hours are flexible. Job duties:
- Assist with organizing, counting, cleaning, packing event decor such as linens, tableware, candle ware.
- Prepare all required inventory for each event including inspection, counting, packing and assist in ordering.
- Prepare, clean and oversee rental drop offs and pickups at our Sydney location.
- Assist with event preparation including but not limited to linen pickups/ drop offs, rental pickups, signage and supply pickups if warranted.
- Access to a vehicle preferred although location is accessible by public transportation.
- Be available Mondays, and Fridays approx. 4-5 hours per day. Hours are flexible.
- Ability to bend, walk/stand and lift 30 lbs.
- Strong and clear communication skills.
- Customer service focused.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Must be able to display a positive attitude while collaborating with a team.
- Ability to work and complete tasks without supervision.
- Pay wage starting at $18/hr
