Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and team
Assist in planning and coordinating MineConnect events, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, and networking sessions
Manage event logistics such as registration, venue booking, catering, and communications
Support scheduling, email correspondence, and calendar management
Prepare documents, presentations, and reports for internal and external use
Help maintain accurate contact databases and event records
Liaise with members, partners, and vendors in a professional manner
Support marketing efforts related to events (social media, email campaigns, etc.)
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Experience in event planning and/or office administration is preferred
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Assets
Experience using platforms like Eventbrite, TEAMS, Mailchimp, or Canva
Familiarity with CRM systems or member management platforms
Knowledge or interest in the mining or economic development sectors
