Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled culinary professional to join our team as a Dietary Aide. This role is essential in providing high-quality food service within our dietary department, ensuring that meals are prepared and served according to established standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining or restaurant settings, with a strong focus on food safety and meal preparation.

Duties

Assist in menu planning and meal preparation to meet dietary needs and preferences. Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines. Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times. Serve meals to residents or guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service operations. Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service and presentation. Utilize knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency in meal assembly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Familiarity with menu planning, food handling, and safety regulations within the food industry. Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is an advantage. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. A passion for delivering high-quality food service with attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements while maintaining high standards of service.
