POSITION SUMMARY
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you\xe2\x80\x99ll develop our email campaign strategies and execute tactics that deliver persuasive messages to existing and prospective guests. More specifically, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for:
  • Working with cross-departments to promote and share information, news, and offers about our offerings to people in the email database list
  • Using email marketing concepts and metrics to measure and optimize our regional email campaigns for Trafalgar, Costsaver, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, Contiki, Destination America, and global email campaigns for Brendan Vacations, to improve open rates, deliverability, click rates, and conversion rates, and to achieve specific business goals
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Traffic all regional request emails across all brands from all departments, including but not limited to marketing, sales, operations, groups and Destination America brand emails
  • Coordinate monthly trade emails, including sales manager and groups newsletters
  • Review monthly reporting from the global teams and extract key data for regional improvements to share with the wider marketing team
  • Support on reporting for all Brendan Vacations emails
  • Facilitate, with global teams, the quarterly review of nurture and post-booking templates
  • Manage quarterly review of all Brendan Vacations emails including nurture and post-booking templates to identify opportunities for continual improvement in email
  • Responsible for briefing and reviewing all emails, including hotlists, trip spotlights, etc., and any Make Travel Matter or TTC related content emails that need to be lifted for Brendan Vacations
  • Proof regional versions of global-led emails
  • Write and edit email copy, subject lines and preheaders as needed
  • Create any B2B2C consumer HTML requests
  • Work closely with global email teams and regional Production Manager on email calendars via Monday.com; responsible for ensuring accuracy of information and keeping the calendar (on Monday.com and Marketing Hub) up to date with latest email send information
  • Manage the monthly TTC Tour Brands North America internal newsletter distribution and Marketing Hub Sharepoint site
  • Assist with coordination tasks related to emails
  • Manage all email-asset-related Marketing Request submissions from Sales, Groups, Destination America, and Contact Center teams
  • Coordinate regional (ad-hoc) data needs for segmented email sends like policy updates, trip confirmations, etc.
  • Set-up and coordinate consumer or agent databases via email
  • Research best practices for email journeys and content to continuously improve our metrics and content
  • Set-up and coordinate any surveys in Survey Monkey or other survey tool applications that will then be used in our email marketing to gain information and knowledge from our existing database
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Experience executing brand and tactical messaging within the email ecosystem and understanding of what good looks like for email performance dependent on the objective of that email.

EXPERIENCE
  • 1-2 years of email marketing experience required, knowledge/familiarization of the travel industry preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Use of Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, One Note applications a plus.
  • Efficiency with Survey Monkey.
  • Use of Monday.com project management tool a plus.
  • Ability to utilize web tools and in-house technical resources, adapt to new technology, learn new programs quickly, and use computers and technology to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to use Excel spreadsheets to store and manipulate account data.
  • Prior use of Marketing Cloud, Salesforce or other CRM is a bonus.
