Sturgeon Public Schools is seeking a

Part-Time (0.5 FTE) Temporary Educational Assistant 2

for Bon Accord Community School.


Located approximately 20 minutes north of Edmonton, Bon Accord Community School serves Kindergarten to Grade 4 students in a safe and caring environment that encourages leadership, confidence, and personal growth. With a dedicated teaching and support staff, the school provides exemplary education through strong teamwork and student-centered programming.


This position will work under the direction of the classroom teacher.

What You'll Be Doing

Support students in developing academic, social, and self-regulation skills Assist students in managing emotional responses and transitions throughout the day Implement classroom and individual strategies to support diverse learning and behavioural needs Encourage positive interactions and relationship-building among students Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive

What You Bring

Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma/Certificate Experience working with children with autism or behavioural needs CPR and First Aid certification Trauma-informed training Experience supporting students with emotional regulation and communication challenges Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and skills may be considered
Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
