Role Summary

Work within EDI team and help run efficient and robust day to day Supply Chain operations for Rivian\xe2\x80\x99s Direct/Indirect suppliers and Carriers/Freight Forwarders for both Inbound and Outbound Logistics.
Responsibilities

  • Work under supervision of EDI Operations lead and enforce Rivian\xe2\x80\x99s EDI guidelines with supplier and carrier base. In addition, develop KPI metrics for EDI Compliance Program for suppliers and carriers.
  • Coordinate EDI enhancement and operations tasks within the team as well as cross- application work with Data Integrations and ERP team.
  • Run stability program for newly onboarded EDI trading partner working together with Supply Chain and Logistics operations team.
  • Execute established EDI Operational best practices across trading partners and assist Supply Chain and Logistics partners.
  • Hands-on support with analyzing and testing developments within EDI framework, and work together with IT teams to ensure operational success of the business-critical processes.
  • The following is a high-level breakdown of the properties and team-activities in which the Supply Chain Systems & Analytics Team will be engaged over the next several years. Your role will engage to work on the following areas:
Business Systems:
  • SAP S/4 HANA (Sourcing, Implementation, Reporting + Monitoring, Enhancements)
  • Transportation Management System (Logistics)
  • Supplier Onboarding/Management Portal
  • EDI Communications Platform (VAN, Peer-2-Peer Protocols, Interconnects)
  • Procure-to-Pay Systems and Data Infrastructure landscape
Analytics: * Supply Chain KPI Development and Tracking
  • KPI data analytics using Dell Boomi and Tableau
  • Business process definition for entire EDI landscape alongside the business verticals and supply chain support model
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with X12, EDIFACT EDI standards.
  • 1+ years of experience managing projects involving EDI Onboarding and Operations.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with all or most the following transactions:
  • Planning & Shipping Schedules \xe2\x80\x93 830/DELFOR & 862/DELJIT
  • Production Sequence \xe2\x80\x93 866
  • Discrete/Spot PO \xe2\x80\x93 850/ORDERS, 855/ORDRSP & 860/ORCHG
  • ASN \xe2\x80\x93 856/DESADV
  • Invoice \xe2\x80\x93 810/INVOIC
  • Load Tender \xe2\x80\x93 204
  • Tender Acceptance - 990
  • Shipment Status & Status Details (Ocean) \xe2\x80\x93 214 & 315
  • Freight Receipt Invoice (Motor Carrier & Ocean)\xe2\x80\x93 210 & 310
  • Rail Carrier Transactions
  • Hands-on experience of SAP R3 or S/4 HANA and the corresponding modules such as Procurement, Material Planning, Logistics and Accounts Payable.
  • Ability to utilize data warehouse and visualizations and Excel for business analytics and report generation for EDI Operations.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing EAI methodologies using Integration platforms such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Microsoft BizTalk, SI, etc.
  • Strong cross-functional engagement with value streams like Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, Production\\Inventory Control and Program Management
