Our expectations

Reporting to the Director, IT - Supply Chain, the Functional Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day activities supporting the demand management application portfolio. Their main mandate is to analyze the needs expressed by the product manager and/or the user(s) and to propose the best adapted solutions. The incumbent must also supervise the development, the definition, and the preparation, as well as the validation of various test phases. Within the Agile model, the Functional Analyst works closely with the Solution Architects and the Developers assigned to the product development team.

Your role
Help the Architect and the Product Manager define requirements
Produce and update functional analysis documents
Carry out the administration, configuration, and upgrades of software, ensure their evolution (improvements), and apply the necessary patches
Make recommendations that take into consideration business requirements, architecture, existing applications, and costs as well as their impacts on processes
Help evaluate the amount of time required for configuration and/or development
Prepare and execute functional and integrated tests, and support acceptance testing
Lead the applications go-live
Maintain application procedures and documents
Follow up during the post-implementation period
Investigate on issues and follow up on their resolution

The qualifications we are looking for
University or college degree in computer science or equivalent
3 to 5 years of analysis experience
Experience with procurement and retail systems
Experience with BlueYonder SCPO systems (Demand&Fulfilment) (an asset)
Ability to learn new systems independently
Analytical and summarizing skills
Popularization and knowledge sharing skills
Ability to easily adapt to change
Good listening skills
Organizational skills and service-based approach
Concern for quality
Leadership and team spirit
Knowledge of Oracle and SQL
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work with Agile mode (JIRA, an asset)
