Position Overview: As a part of the Inbound Scheduling and Planning Team, the Loblaw co-op student will be leveraging advanced process optimization techniques, to identify opportunities, develop solutions and integrate them into our core business processes. Our co-op program touches all aspects of replenishment including forecasting, inventory optimization, operations management, and reporting and analytics. A successful co-op colleague will be:

Accountabilities:
  • Provide reporting solutions to support business performance
  • Provide analytical insight from large volumes of data to drive efficiency within the supply chain team
  • Support the decision-making process through the optimal mix of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Create documentation to support supply chain reports (SOPs, job aids, flow charts, etc.)
  • Act as a point of contact for reporting questions and issues
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in relatable discipline
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong computer skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Access.
  • Experience with SAS and SQL is an asset
  • Proven experience working with large data sets, creating robust reportsConfident Communication Skills
