Our client, a leader in their field in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst \xe2\x80\x93 Supply Chain to join their team.

The Pricing Analyst, Supply Chain is responsible for conducting pricing analysis, optimizing pricing strategies, monitoring production costs, and understanding technical drawings to provide cost estimating. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective pricing decisions and support business objectives.

Pricing Analyst responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of pricing structures within the supply chain. Evaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to recommend pricing strategies and adjustments.
• Analyze production costs associated with the supply chain, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Identify cost-saving opportunities, evaluate cost drivers, and make recommendations for cost optimization.
• Implement and monitor pricing strategies across the supply chain. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely pricing updates.
• Gather and analyze pricing data, market trends, and customer insights. Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate competitor pricing strategies and market trends. Stay updated on industry dynamics and regulatory changes that may impact pricing decisions. Provide insights and recommendations to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand product features, manufacturing processes, and supply chain requirements and provide assistance with estimating
• Monitor and analyze production costs within the supply chain. Identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to optimize production costs without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align pricing strategies with business objectives. Communicate pricing changes, updates, and rationale to relevant stakeholders. Provide guidance and support to sales teams
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to supply chain pricing. Seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the pricing function.

The successful candidate has:

• 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in cost analysis, vendor analysis, with some experience in estimating
• Technologist Diploma will be an asset, or post-secondary in Supply Chain Management
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proven experience in pricing analysis, cost analysis, and interpreting drawings and estimating
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
• Excellent understanding of pricing methodologies, market dynamics, competitive landscape
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and SAP

Compensation and benefits:

• The discussed salary range is $58,000 to $65,000/year, depending on experience
