Dog Park Monitor (or 'Rufferee')

Your Mission:

Provide exceptional customer service to every pet parent who walks through our doors. Chat with clients to make them feel welcome, informed, and at home. Monitor dog behavior/interactions and enforce park rules to ensure we have a safe space for all pets and parents. Handle the ins and outs of working in an open play environment, from educating park visitors to promoting positive interactions, opening and closing duties, cleaning, and helping pet families with questions. Ensure that the park is looking its best for our customers and their pets. Discover our services, understand what sets us apart, and share this knowledge with our clients.

You Are:

A People Person:

You genuinely love connecting with others and have a natural knack for starting conversations. You thrive on interaction and enjoy being the life of the party.

Customer-Oriented:

You know that every interaction counts and strive to make each one memorable. Familiar with dog body language and able to recognize different dog behaviors. Comfortable around all breeds and sizes of dogs.

Passionate about Pets

: You have love for all animals, and you're eager to share it with our customers and their companions.

An Enforcer:

Willing to uphold the rules to maintain a safe environment for pets and clients.

Qualifications:

A heart for customer service and a strong work ethic. A love for animals. Willingness to learn and grow with a new and exciting company. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to work alone as well as in a team. Able to work days, evenings & at least one weekend day. Pet first aid is a plus.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
