Job Summary

Sally's Play Centre and Social House is an indoor/outdoor dog park, doggy daycare and pub.

We are looking for the perfect fit as a hybrid PAWlice officer/Pub worker.

This position requires a physically fit person with the ability to be multifaceted. This position is for dog lovers and those who are passionate about food and drinks.

When working around animals there is an element of unpredictable behavior that you must learn how to manage to keep yourself and your fellow co-workers safe. Therefore having a reasonable existing knowledge of canine body language is preferred. There will be classes you will be asked to take to father your knowledge. Our PAWlice will be trained to work alone and together as a team.

You will be fully trained to be able to jump in and help in the pub serving guests, including making and preparing food, pouring drinks and making sure our guests are having fun!

Self-discipline, motivation, time management and communication are strengths we will be looking for. Opportunity for advancement will be made available to our keen candidates.

Duties

Answering phones Greeting guests and explaining our different packages and memberships Signing up guests and taking payments Keeping all structures, play areas and training areas clean and sanitized. Indoors and outdoors Pack management Checking dogs in and out on software program Helping plan and execute events Daily cleaning duties Greet and assist customers with their food selections, providing information about menu items and daily specials. Prepare and serve food items according to established guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Making pizza dough and prepping ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area, including dining spaces, kitchen equipment, and utensils. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following all cash handling procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Experience/Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in the food service industry.

Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour
