Job Description

Requirements:

- Must have vehicle that can accommodate a minimum of 7 dogs

(van, SUV, or large hatchback).

- Ability to effectively

handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments

(no aggressive dogs). Dogs will be

off-leash

Excellent customer service skills

to interact with dog owners in a professional and friendly manner.

- Must be available

Monday - Thursday from 8am-3:30pm + Friday from 8am-11:30am.

Responsibilities:

- MORNING: Pick up 6-8 dogs on the way to a private dog park. Walk dogs off-leash for 60 minutes, then return dogs back home (clean). Keep dog park in the same condition it was when you arrived.

- AFTERNOON: Pick up 4-6 dogs, head to dog park to walk dogs through trails off-leash for 75 minutes, then return dogs home (clean).

- Weekly communication with dog owners about their dog's outings. Also, provide Waggy Walks Ottawa with video highlights of the dogs outings at the end of the week.

Pay rate:

Paid per dog. Rate is negotiable.

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The independent contractor may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organisation.

Pay: $36,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Are you willing and able to commute around the Ottawa area to pick up dogs, take them to their designated parks, and back home?
