Important: A personal SUV or hatchback with working AC is required.
This is a long-term role, not suitable for seasonal/summer-only applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct client consultations and onboarding sessions Lead group off-leash adventure walks at our private, fenced acreage in Dunrobin (10 minutes from Kanata tech park) Option to increase income by offering private walks, puppy visits, and boarding services Maintain regular communication with clients and team via text, social media, and email Potential opportunity to join our Trainer Apprentice Program

What We're Looking For:

Vehicle

: SUV or hatchback (must be dog-friendly and okay getting messy)

Tech-savvy

: Smartphone with data and camera; required to create a dedicated WWMO Instagram account

Availability

: Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm; this is a full-time, long-term position with part-time hours (option to supplement income outside walking hours). Fewer days per week may be considered.

People skills

: Friendly, professional, and strong communicator

Physically capable

: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk in all seasons on varied terrain

Outdoor enthusiast

: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Self-starter

: Independent, dependable, and collaborative

Calm under pressure

: Patient, empathetic, and able to manage high-stress situations involving dogs, clients, or team members

Additional Details:

This is an

independent contractor

position (not salaried employment) You'll be paid a flat-rate commission per dog walked Income ranges from

$30,000-$55,000/year

, depending on experience and workload You'll be required to: Obtain a Pet First Aid certification Provide a clean, current Criminal Record Check Register for an HST number once you reach the income threshold
