The Dispatch Customer Service Coordinator will assist in the execution of daily dispatch requirements. This position will ensure the dispatch department provides the highest standard, focusing on customer service both internal and external.

  • Acknowledging and responding to customer\'s email within 1 hour during business hours.
  • Following up with customers on information they require including eta\'s in a timely manner.
  • Review daily dispatch to ensure all runs are covered and if there are any potential service delays then following up with customers the same day to advise.
  • Support the sales team with being the main contact for the whole Dispatch team so they only have one point of contact to deal with for any issues or follow ups.
  • Responding back to internal teams including sales etc. to provide an acknowledgement that task they have requested are complete.
  • Working with sales and other AIM departments to gather information and/or gain clarity required to support customers.
  • Ensuring any specific customer requests are communicated to dispatchers and following up to ensure they are completed.
  • Support identifying any opportunities to provide customers with a better experience.
  • Working with IT on any issues the Dispatch team is experiencing like system glitches.
  • Complete root cause analysis to identify issue on any failed runs to avoid re-occurrence.
  • Work in conjunction with the Scale operations on any unique situations that require their support like for example notification on when a load arrives that individuals are waiting on.
Qualifications
  • You thrive on delivering exceptional client experience through positive and engaging relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask while staying focused.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in a Transportation environment is an asset.
  • You are open and flexible to changing conditions and request.
