Job Description


Adi Development Group is looking to fill the role for “Director, IT and Business Applications” to join our growing team!

This position will be critical to provide the organization with critical leadership regarding supporting existing system infrastructure and business applications, as well as to drive key design innovations, define efficiencies, identify cost savings and plan for future growth and scale.

The role will initially require a self-starter but will quickly require a plan to build out in-house and/or supplemental teams to support longer term business needs, design priorities and an implementation plan for Adi’s growing digital requirements.

Key Goals

  • Improve Infrastructure and Application for greater ROI
  • Develop standard capabilities and delivery mechanisms for infrastructure and applications delivery (including best practice dev ops, vendor managements, requirements, etc.)
  • Strategic roadmap for delivery in support of organizational growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee operations of vendors in support of delivery of devices, applications, infrastructure services, optimizing processes and technology, and ensuring high availability of existing platforms.
  • Assess and audit existing vendor relationships refining needs, true up and tighten up existing and contractual costs/ obligations/ needs.
  • Seasoned, in-depth knowledge of technological concepts, applications, and integration best practices to plan and build with core vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise information and data of corporate assets with effective controls for security/privacy risks and data lifecycle management.
  • Negotiate with vendors and business units ensuring linkages to existing technologies, policies, and procedures.
  • Assess current state of IT and create best practices, procedures, policies, business continuity plans, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Decision making and critical thinking - knowledge of tools and techniques for effective use of a broad range of factors, assumptions, frameworks, and perspectives when solving problems.
  • Maintain constructive relations with internal and external partners while managing expectations.
  • Effective recruiting abilities to ensure a constant technological growth in the work environment.
  • Supervise and develop employees: evaluate, plan, direct, coach, counsel, mentor, delegate, discipline, and train.
  • Apply knowledge of administrative principles and practices, including goal setting and program budget development and implementation.
  • Hands-on mentoring of all team members with the aid of both the infrastructure and applications skills required to skillfully guide personnel to successful career building.
  • Present and recommend technology directions at the executive level aligning requirements against corporate strategy/ Prioritize team activities considering overall business direction while setting realistic and achievable goals.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT Leadership Role.
  • Proven team building, management experience.
  • Extensive proven track record in the primary position disciplines within professional services sector environment.
  • Experience leading the implementation of new delivery models, processes, and services.
  • Experience in integration technology and application, design and processes,
  • Proficiency in general management, along with strong negotiating skills.
  • Developed listening skills and be a creative and conceptual thinker.
  • Proven technological knowledge of Microsoft technology including but not limited to Azure, Teams, O365, Salesforce and MECM
