Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental technology and laboratory practices, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in creating high-quality dental prosthetics that meet the specific needs of our patients and dental professionals.

Duties

Fabricate dentures and denture products using a variety of procedures including IvoCap and IvoBase processes. Collaborate with denturists to understand patient requirements, timelines, and to ensure accurate specifications are met. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols. Assist the lead denturist with all lab related tasks, including setting teeth. Follow detailed procedures to the specifications of the clinic. Learn and perform techniques involved in creating digital dentures as the clinic gradually transitions. Assist in training new staff members on laboratory processes and techniques as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Technician or in a similar role within a dental office or laboratory setting (Ideal but not required). Previous experience using CAD software for designing dental appliances is ideal. Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Previous experience in a laboratory environment, including knowledge of dental materials and fabrication techniques. Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity skills. Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and complete competing tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining effective communication. Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
