Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator

Main Functions

The Lallemand Bio-Ingredients Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible to ensure a quick and efficient ordering process, from the order reception to its invoicing. They will be responsible for communicating in a timely fashion with the customers throughout the order process, when necessary. He/She will organize shipments of goods to various domestic and global locations and will ensure customs compliance of products exported.

The main functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive and enter internal and external client orders in the system, to deliver domestically and Internationally
  • Inform client of special communications and keep them informed about their orders
  • Organize freight quotes and approve freight quotes to deliver orders
  • Organize customs documents when necessary
  • Prepare documentation for shipments and send it to the warehouse to get the order prepared
  • Approve carrier invoices
  • Invoice the orders to the clients
  • Enter credit notes or price adjustment when necessary
  • Keep client\'s file updated
  • File damage claims with carrier as needed and follow-up
  • Keep sales representative informed about the communication with their client

Technical skills

Required
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Etc.)
An asset
  • Fluent in other languages
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment (Outlook)
