ANTH 206 - Environment and Culture
Introduction to ecological anthropology, focusing on social and cultural adaptations to different environments, human impact on the environment, cultural constructions of the environment, management of common resources, and conflict over the use of resources.
August 27 - December 3, 2025: Monday & Wednesday (4:05 pm - 5:25 pm)
Location: Bronfman Building 151
Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: MA required. Priority to holders of PhDs with specialization in relevant areas, or near completion of degree.
Experience: Priority will be given to candidates with relevant field research background examining human/environmental interactions, and experience in teaching in Environmental Anthropology.
This course will be taught by one instructor in-person.
