Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a talented brand-product cosmetic manager to join their team.

The Brand Manager will serve as the marketing lead for the company unique line of Branded and healthcare products. He/she will be responsible for monitoring brand health and competitive activity, coordinating projects and launch plans for product and SKU rollout, partnering with the Sales team to create compelling selling stories and participating in business development activities focused on adding new brands to our portfolio.

Duties and responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Lead the brand strategy and execution in alignment with the company business objectives across all marketing & distribution channels

\xc2\xb7 Partner with Sales team to create compelling brand and category stories to expand distribution and secure new item sell-in. Preparation of selling decks and materials to support sales team.

\xc2\xb7 Oversee the development and maintenance of e-commerce website(s) to ensure a strong user and brand experience.

\xc2\xb7 Identify, recommend and execute strategies and promotional programs to establish brand awareness, trial, conversion, website traffic and sales success for brick and mortar stores as well as e-commerce platform.

\xc2\xb7 Working with the PR Agency to evaluate PR & communications strategies to ensure overarching brand messages are delivered through optimal media exposures.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with Sales to assist in developing sell-in and sell-through strategies

\xc2\xb7 Lead Social Media efforts to ensure best-in class content, community engagement and KPIs

\xc2\xb7 Manage the development, monitoring and coordination of promotional budget spending.

\xc2\xb7 Spearhead initiatives such as packaging, merchandising, pricing, and communication development.

\xc2\xb7 Develop benchmarks and reports that track performance and drive actionable insight, identify new opportunities and learning using market data (Neilsen, IRI, etc.).

\xc2\xb7 Perform consumer insight research and activity to identify research needs and establish programs designed to meet those needs, including deeper consumer understanding and innovation planning.

\xc2\xb7 Partner with regulatory and marketing to ensure label, packaging and promotional materials development.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in P&L management and monthly sales forecasting.

\xc2\xb7 Develop brand briefs and manage content development for websites, digital and social media.

\xc2\xb7 Participate with cross functional teams and develop and execute launch plans to ensure in market success.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct brand reviews, analyze and track product line performance to identify product line improvement, new product and promotion effectiveness improvement opportunities.

\xc2\xb7 Performs other marketing management duties as required.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in trade shows as needed.

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 University or College degree in Marketing/Business Management/Communications or relevant field

\xc2\xb7 5+ years of experience in brand management in the CPG industry and a passion for health & wellness, beauty and personal care.

\xc2\xb7 Experience working with Brick & Mortar Stores as well as E-commerce platform (Shopify preferred.)

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical skills with experience to drive the P&L and working with cross-functional teams.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience with all mass trade channels (Grocery, Drug, Mass, Natural, Specialty, E-Commerce.)

\xc2\xb7 Strong fundamental business skills as well as the energy level and \xe2\x80\x9cdisruption mindset\xe2\x80\x9d (entrepreneurial spirit and innovative sensibility.)

\xc2\xb7 Agency management experience.

\xc2\xb7 Analytical, critical thinking and strong background working with syndicated data.

\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of leading an engaged, high performing team.

\xc2\xb7 Energy, passion and a strong desire to build a transformational brand in today\xe2\x80\x99s marketplace.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, deadline driven environment.

\xc2\xb7 Experience marketing CPG products via ecommerce and natural space a plus.
