Position Summary
Under the direction of the Sr. Brand Manager, Prestige & Specialty, the Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for providing specific and dedicated support to the portfolio, and is accountable for projects and activities relating to brand strategy and plans for both domestic and export markets. This role will support The Glenlivet, Chivas, G.H, Mumm, Perrier Jouet, and Martell.
Responsibilities

• Participates actively in the development of the annual strategic plan for the category in which their brands reside resulting in delivery of business growth and profit
• Responsible for the timely implementation of all marketing programs on assigned brands, including advertising, partnership and promotional activity
• Analyze industry, competition and market data to complete monthly business performance reports translating insights to action
• Prepares presentations and product sell decks for relevant individuals, including Provincial Managers for Sales meetings
• Collaborates with internal departments and external agencies to coordinate and implement brand activities
• Responsible for the management of the brand budget, including creation of PO’s
• Ensures that necessary brand information is effectively communicated to the appropriate individuals and departments, both internally and externally
• Ensures all marketing material for brand portfolio is up-to-date and relevant
• Procures POS material, ordering as and when required
• Performs other duties, as required

Preferred Education and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of marketing experience, preferably in a related field
• University degree required
• High level of initiative and entrepreneurial spirit
• Creativity and drive to bring new ideas to life
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral)
• Strong team player and willingness to collaborate with internal cross functional team and external agency partners.
• Strong comfort with data, and good critical thinker
• Strong time management and organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple, competing projects at once

Technical Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft office

• Due to marketing events and activities, some work after hours will be required
