What you will do
The Coordinator, Learning Services, creates and supports student learning initiatives within Peer Assisted Learning Support (PALS) and the Math and Writing Centres (M&WC). The incumbent collaborates closely with faculty partners to ensure academic learning
support programs are created and maintained, which effectively support student learners. Close collaboration is also required between the incumbent and PALS and M&W team members, to develop programs, supports and services, at the direction of the Manager,
which reduce barriers to equity deserving students, meet student academic needs, and meet faculty expectations.

The incumbent will be responsible for the Assessment and Marketing of programming from PALS and M&WC. This will require the planning and development of a marketing strategy to reach and communicate to students and faculty: to explain our services and their
benefits and ensure that these facts are widely known (using social media, reoccurring advertising, traditional approaches, etc.). Qualitative (satisfaction, suggestions, etc.) and quantitative (GPA, persistence, engagement, participation rates, etc.) assessment will be
ongoing throughout the year, providing evidence of programmatic impact, which can then be used in communications, inform practice and demonstrate the importance of PALS and M&WC work.
