Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools will be filling upcoming vacancies and is therefore inviting applications for two full-time Coordinator of Learning Services positions with yet to be determined diverse portfolios. The successful applicants will commence duties August 28, 2023.
The coordinator will be part of a collaborative team that supports the actualization of the Student Learning Model through division work in the areas of Board Goals and Priorities, Division Areas of Focus, School Learning Improvement Plans and Professional Learning Communities.
Learning Services Coordinators provide leadership and manage broad areas within their portfolios. As such, their knowledge and demonstrated leadership in broad areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment is an important attribute. The coordinator role will focus on supporting strategic plans, improved student learning and teacher professional learning across various grade levels. The Coordinator will also supervise staff, provide leadership through challenging situations and build and maintain partnerships to support division goals and priorities. The coordinator role requires flexible leadership, as portfolios adjust based on the needs of the division.

Required qualifications for this position
Commitment to the ideals and principles of Catholic Education
A Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field
Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
Knowledge and demonstrated leadership of Quality Core Instruction and the GSCS Student Learning Model
Knowledge and practice of culturally responsive and relational pedagogy
Demonstrated ability in instructional and innovative leadership
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and practice of research-based instruction and assessment practices
Demonstrated effective leadership in adult profession learning
Demonstrated ability to work within a team as well as independently
