To achieve this aim, PCE will supply B.C.'s proposed Woodfibre LNG project, which will liquefy the natural gas and load it into vessels. The natural gas will be shipped to help supply a growing demand for cleaner sources of energy in Asia.THE POSITIONPCE is currently searching for a Construction Superintendent that will report to the Manager, Drilling, Completions & Construction. This role is responsible for construction of new leases, roads and their continued maintenance. The Construction Superintendent will work with all groups of the company and third-party road users as well as communicate with Government bodies for all road, lease and earth moving projects. The position is based in Calgary with regular field visits during the time of projects execution.Key Responsibilities

  • Project management of Road and Lease construction
  • Collaborate with subsurface team on planning best locations for new leases and access
  • Work with field supervisor to organize scouting and surveying of new leases and roads
  • Review plans and surveys for lease and road builds
  • Follow PCE procurement policies securing bids for work
  • Execute construction projects in an efficient and safe manner
  • Ensure daily reports are accurate and reflect all pertinent information
  • Track costs
  • Conduct look backs on projects for continuous improvement
  • Build productive relations with BC government (MOTi) road division
  • Manage 3rd party road users
  • Available to take field calls when executing operations
  • Travel to the field as and when required
  • Champion PCE's HSE policies and ESG commitments

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years supervisory and/or related experience in lease and road construction
  • Civil Engineer Technology Diploma or Civil Engineering degree, or equivalent education would be an asset.
  • Previous British Columbia work experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AFE Navigator, Open Invoice, Petrosight and Microsoft Programs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of British Columbia Regulations.
  • Must possess a valid vehicle operating license.
