Adi Development Group is looking for a Construction Site Superintendent to work on our high rise landmark residential developments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee the Adi construction management process per project; Budget, Scheduling, Safety and Design in conjunction with the Owners, Project Manager, Engineers and Site Team to deliver results.
  • Create, Monitor, and update project schedules and ensure the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required
  • Organize and Supervise site staff, trades and contractors and ensure that they are performing as required and reporting progress; Tracking/logging daily manpower on site and maintaining a project diary
  • Ensure that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed and liaise with government inspectors on the standard requirements of the site
  • Ensure the quality of work and materials are upheld – Upholding Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards
  • Ensure that the budget is followed; work with the Project Manager in managing all Division 1 costs
  • Order materials as needed

What You Bring

  • 5+ years progressive experience in construction as a Site Superintendent with a record of completing full-cycle residential construction projects
  • Have a post-secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
  • Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision
  • Possess thorough knowledge building large scale residential construction projects
  • Able to read construction working drawings including and not limited to architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and landscape drawings
  • Must have strong budgeting and scheduling skills. Aptitude with scheduling software and project management software is a must
  • A valid G driver’s license, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel to various office locations

Nice to Have Skills/Experience

  • Have taken courses or certifications in project management or have PMP designation
  • Experience or knowledge of Lean methodology
  • Goal Seal Certification
  • General Carpenter (403A)
