Foster effective working relationships with stakeholders including consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Prepare accurate estimates of material, labor, and equipment costs for construction projects based on bids, drawings, and specifications.
Manage the tendering process and implement cost monitoring and reporting systems.
Generate and maintain cost and expenditure statements and forecasts throughout projects.
Maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors, and liaise with them as necessary.
Communicate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and subcontractors, and conduct economic feasibility studies.
Coordinate construction projects and prepare progress schedules to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications and Requirements:
College or university degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Previous working experience as a residential construction estimator for (3-5) years
Strong knowledge of standard residental construction materials and parctices and the Ontario Building code
Attend applicable company meetings both in-office and on-site to enable project estimating.
Demonstrable knowledge of residential renovation and construction techniques.
Working knowledge of residential estimation and quantity take off techniques
Proficient in using estimating software and tools
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay: $52,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
