As our company is consistently expanding, we are looking for those candidates who are highly motivated and driven by the opportunity for financial reward and career advancement in a family-like working environment. : We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable\xe2\x80\xafClaims Specialist\xe2\x80\xafwho will be responsible for handling freight and equipment claims and ensure prompt and thorough resolutions. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for investigating and resolving customers\xe2\x80\x99 freight issues, which may include claims for damaged or lost freight.
  • Gather information, conduct interviews and statements, review and analyze reports and related bills.
  • Request documentation and information needed from carriers to resolve claims or letters of denial.
  • Track communications and follow-up with transportation providers during the claims process.
  • Complete freight claim paperwork with transportation provider\xe2\x80\x94both paper or electronic.
  • Process checks and ensure all parties are paid in a timely manner when a claim is resolved,
  • Identify and communicate reoccurring operations errors to management.
  • Educate and update the drives of claims procedures to minimize claim complaints.
  • Negotiate settlements with carriers on behalf of the client by mutual communication and agreement.
  • Produce claims reports as requested.
  • Assist department and front office with miscellaneous duties.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of freight claims experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Effective conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
  • High level of computer proficiency- Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent administrative and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, performance driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and desire to succeed.
  • Strong team player
