YOUR ROLE The Chinese Marketing Coordinator is our client-facing Periphery representative that has experience in Chinese social media campaigns. You help deliver Chinese marketing campaigns that resonate with the audience. You are also in charge of managing and administering our client\'s Chinese Social Media accounts and Advertising Channels. RESPONSIBILITIES Chinese Social Media - Handle WeChat and RED service account registrations/verification and annual renewal
- Assist with ads on WeChat and RED (setup, running, optimizing and reporting)
- Create and maintain clients\xe2\x80\x99 social media calendars and schedules, while collaborating with our internal content and design teams
- Manage WeChat, Weibo, and RED accounts on behalf of our clients: post articles and messages, handle community engagement and management
- Use analytical tools (e.g. WeChat Analytics) to monitor and evaluate the performance on client\xe2\x80\x99s WeChat and RED accounts: followers, organic posts\xe2\x80\x99 views, engagement on the regular basis
- Provide WeChat and RED data updates to account managers when needed, prepare monthly reports on WeChat marketing efforts and results to internal and external stakeholders
- Make recommendations to adjust WeChat and RED marketing strategy for optimal results
- Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in Chinese social media Project Coordination - Support Project Managers a they work to execute, launch, and manage campaigns for clients
- Update quotes, media plans, and other documents in a timely manner as requested by the Account and Project Managers
- Coordinate and support campaign timelines to ensure that deadlines are met and deliverables are produced, approved, and launched efficiently
- Set up and update client dashboards, assist in preparing client reports, check and compile key vendor stats and KPIs from Chinese marketing platforms
- Assist in creating translation briefs, compile assets and set up campaign documents for Project Managers as needed such as project briefs, digital copy sheets, content calendars, etc. *Perform other related duties as required QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: - Bachelor degree in a related discipline (e.g. Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing) is preferred
- At least 1-2 years of Chinese marketing experience in an English speaking workplace, working for a marketing team in a corporate company, marketing agency or local media
- Experience with WeChat and RED account backend and experience in growing WeChat and RED followers Skills - Fluent in speaking both English and Mandarin
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills in Chinese (both simplified and traditional Chinese is preferred) and English
- Professional in managing client interactions and relations
- Good knowledge of marketing communications principles, practices and techniques
- Detail-oriented and creative thinker
- Initiative and is adaptable to a fast-paced environment
