The Opportunity We are looking for a collaborative, strategic and committed Chief of Staff (COS) to join the President\xe2\x80\x99s Office in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. As COS, you are responsible for directing, managing and overseeing all daily operations and strategic political direction for the President. This includes responsibilities like: \xc2\xb7 Researching, prioritizing, and following up on high level issues and concerns that arise within NCC and impact NunatuKavut Inuit and communities; \xc2\xb7 Providing advice to the President and Governing Council on appropriate courses of action, referral and response to issues that arise; \xc2\xb7 Coordinating all activities within the President\xe2\x80\x99s Office, including providing leadership to staff, overseeing the budget and ensuring priorities and requests are addressed efficiently and in a reasonable time; \xc2\xb7 Drafting, reviewing or editing briefing materials and correspondence for the President and Governing Council; \xc2\xb7 Serving as liaison between the President\xe2\x80\x99s Office and NCC\xe2\x80\x99s leadership offices and departments; and \xc2\xb7 Liaising with and maintaining relationships with political bodies, consultants, legal counsel. Additionally, you will seek to build strong and positive intergovernmental relationships. You will participate with the President and senior leadership team in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making. The Person You have: \xc2\xb7 A University Degree in public administration, political science or relevant discipline combined with significant political experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience; Job Type: Full-time Salary: $90,000.00-$106,000.00 per year Benefits:
