We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and construction, with the ability to work independently and efficiently. As a Carpet Installer, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing carpet in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Measure and cut carpet to fit specific areas according to blueprints or specifications. Install carpet using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting. Utilize hand tools effectively for various installation tasks, including caulking and finishing touches. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Perform repairs or adjustments as necessary during the installation process.

Requirements

Proven experience in flooring installation, particularly in carpet laying. Strong understanding of construction principles and practices. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings related to flooring layouts. Experience with carpentry techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in flooring installation and maintenance person tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
