Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flooring installation and a strong understanding of various installation techniques. As a Carpet Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring that carpets are installed correctly and efficiently, providing high-quality workmanship that meets our clients' expectations.

Duties

Measure and cut carpet to fit designated areas accurately. Install carpet using appropriate techniques and tools, ensuring a seamless finish. Read and interpret blueprints and installation plans to determine layout and design specifications. Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, fitting, and securing carpet materials. Apply caulking as needed to ensure proper sealing around edges and seams. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain a clean and organized work environment during and after installations. Assist with tile laying or other flooring installations as required.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience Proven experience in carpet installation or related fields such as maintenance person services or carpentry. Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding technical drawings. Strong skills in using hand tools specific to flooring installation. Knowledge of caulking techniques for effective sealing. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
