Position Summary... This role drives analysis and insights on the performance of digital marketing channels and activities that are employed to support Walmart Canada\xe2\x80\x99s bricks-and-mortar retail and Walmart.ca online business. This role will help the Digital Marketing team make informed decisions about what to do (or not do) next by interpreting what the numbers are telling them and making recommendations about what\xe2\x80\x99s working and what\xe2\x80\x99s not. To communicate these insights, the Manager, Marketing Optimization will be responsible for providing daily dashboards and reports, competitive tracking, ad-hoc analysis, and an understanding of consumer behavior to help measure digital marketing initiatives and ROI. This role is highly cross-functional and involves working closely with partners across the business to develop and communicate results of analyses.
What you\'ll do...
Drive digital analytics strategy and execution for the Digital Marketing and eCommerce team, including the measurement of digital marketing and eComm program initiatives through definition and tracking of online KPIs and calculation of attribution / ROI.
Work closely with cross-functional internal and external business partners to provide objective information derived from data to support their functional areas.
Accountable for reviewing weekly and monthly performance reports and ensuring results are to plan, communicating actionable insights and recommendations to internal clients and leadership on cross-functional teams.
Perform in-depth analysis of digital channel and campaign performance using MTA/LTA/MMM and agency measurement tools by triangulating findings to discover opportunities to optimize campaigns to improve effectiveness and efficiencies.
Integrate with digital leads during campaign pre-planning stages to advise on campaign spend optimization to ensure business objectives are met. Lead the post analysis of the campaigns for future learnings.
Seek opportunity to identify and prioritize optimization and test and learn.
Support and evolve client persona and segmentation schema to be used in strategic and tactical digital marketing strategies in conjunction with the Walmart.ca Loyalty and Analytics team.
Drives process improvements within marketing application functions to improve data quality, performance, availability, and manageability. Ensures compliance with database standards, best practices, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Advanced analytics tool \xe2\x80\x93 SQL
Strong experience with visualization tools (ie Tableau, Power BI)
Degree in analytics, math, engineering
Program/Loyalty analytics experience preferred
