Job Summary




































Please Note: This is a 13-month contract role to cover a parental leave. What is the opportunity? We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager of Consumer Digital Product Analytics to oversee the analysis of consumer digital product data and provide insights to help optimize our shopping experience within the RBC Avion Rewards Program. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with large data sets, and a passion for uncovering trends and opportunities. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and projects to drive business results by collaborating within the broader Loyalty Analytics team and stakeholders across the Loyalty organization. What will you do?
  • Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the digital shopping experience and identify areas of improvement
  • Develop, maintain, and present regular reporting and presentation to cross-functional teams, including senior management to communicate insights and recommendations about the customer shopping journey
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to drive initiatives that improve shopping experience, engagement, and increase client satisfaction
  • Monitor industry trends and innovations and bring new insights and ideas to the team
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our customers, products, and competitive landscape
  • Autonomously collaborate with internal stakeholder, prioritize requests, manages to project outcomes, and escalates appropriately
  • Experience with managing through change and deliver on process enhancements, scalable analysis, dashboards, and model improvements
What do you need to succeed? Must have:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Analytics)
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in analytics, preferably in an ecommerce or retail environment
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong business acumen with ability to bridge between business and technical requirements to drive outcomes
  • Proven ability to derive insights from data and communicate those insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
  • Communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the company and the ability to synthesize complex data into an easy to digest format
  • Excellent problem-solving and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-starter, with the ability to use data for decision making and proactively make relevant recommendations to the business
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Technical expertise with data modelling that supports BI tools.

Nice to have:
  • Previous work experience in a dual sided marketplace (B2B & B2C), retail or loyalty landscape.
  • Working experience with modern data architectures (Snowflake, Spark)
