By joining the Calgary Police Service, you will get to apply your academic knowledge and participate in providing quality public service for over 1.3 million Calgarians. As a student, you will build lasting relationships with industry leaders, and contribute to work that will build and strengthen your skill sets. Primary duties include:

• Create short (5-10 minute) Training Videos.
• Support the Digital Services Division in the creation of graphics for elearning
• Help Digital Services Division for other organizational graphic design and video projects as required .

Qualifications

• 
  Enrolled in a diploma or degree program in a related field of study.
• 
  Intermediate proficiency with Adobe suite of software and video editing software is required.
• 
  Success in this position requires: excellent organizational and communication skills; a high degree of customer focus; strong research and problem-solving skills and focus on attention to detail; and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• 
  Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2023.
• 
  An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
• 
  If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Compensation: $26.63 per hour

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.




Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
