The Company

KEV Group is a leader in providing cloud-based educational software solutions to address the unique financial needs of the North American K-12 education market. KEV Group has serviced this market for over 25 years, providing a fully integrated system for online payments, fee management, school lunches, school-level accounting, and digital forms.

Business Unit - Vice President and General Manager

Each key pillar within KEV Group is managed by a Vice President or General Manager who owns their respective business unit. General Managers are instrumental in driving the success of their business units through prudent P&L management, execution of growth strategies, and operational leadership.

KEV is currently seeking several General Managers for various portfolios, each with their own unique set of priorities and goals.

Success in this role requires:

  • Close collaboration with the CEO to implement the vision for the business unit
  • Oversight and accountability for the business unit P&L
  • Defining KPIs and goals for the business unit and delivering against them
  • Delivering on growth strategies to drive value for existing customers, as well drive revenue growth for the business
  • Leading the integration of multiple products to create a unified customer experience
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and technology to ensure the achievement of business line and overall organizational goals
  • Refining and automating operational processes to promote scalability
  • Building and managing a team, fostering a positive and engaging culture
  • Leading customer success initiatives to promote customer satisfaction and drive retention
  • Please note: this role will require regular travel
What it will take:

The VP/GM will lead and collaborate with targeted urgency, while remaining flexible and adaptable to opportunities and challenges. The VP/GM will leverage product, marketing, sales, customer success and operations knowledge and experience, will embrace growth at high velocity, and thrive on integrating and scaling businesses.

To succeed in this role, you need:
  • Previous experience scaling a SaaS business or a business unit successfully
  • Previous P&L ownership
  • To be highly \xe2\x80\x98operational\xe2\x80\x99 with the ability to get into the weeds and solve complex problems
  • Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing and executing on revenue-growth strategies
  • Experience with M&A integrations
  • Experience in the K-12 space is value add
