With locations in Ottawa, Toronto, and St. Catherines, our client offers a professional, agile and accessible approach by providing mental health professionals the back-office support to enable them to focus on their practices. As the largest collective of mental health professionals in Ontario, out client is able to help, treat and assess 35000 clients / year through their sophisticated approach using all channels of teletherapy and onsite. For almost 15 years, our client has worked with psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, and counsellors to meet their administrative, marketing, accounting, and event planning needs. Our client allows the mental health professionals to service their clients, of all cohorts and demographics, and leverage the most recent assessments, research, and intervention strategies. The role of Accounts Clerk will support the management team and ensure the smooth running of the office affairs. Working within a complex business that can be challenging and busy, the Accounts Clerk will take responsibility for administrative requirements and work with the 3rd party vendors, suppliers, associates and client to ensure all questions are answered, and processes adhered to. The Accounts Clerk will use their financial acumen to help with cash flow management, expense reporting, and payroll administration. Reporting into a Manager of Operations & Development, the Accounts Clerk will be expected to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and will be the main point of contact for internal staff and external merchants, banks, and service providers. While this role doesn\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99t require full cycle accounting, the leadership team is looking for someone who can help generate reports, analyze sales & pricing data, help maintain efficiencies, prepare invoices, review expense reports and process claims. You will ensure accounts payable and client invoices are actioned in a timely manner and assist with payroll calculation entry.

The Ideal Candidate will be able to marry their strong administrative background with their proven financial record keeping skills. You will have 5+ years experience working within a busy environment where your role requires you to work internally and externally with clients, vendors, and staff. Knowledge of cash flow management, client billings, some payroll and issuing payments for accounts payable will be required. Your proven adaptability to new systems and processes, and your amazing attention to detail is highly coveted. We are looking for a strong communicator, who is confident & capable to keep the administrators and associates focused on their job by jumping in where and when needed. Your agility & flexibility, great interpersonal skills, and analytical mindset is needed for this role as you navigate the different dimensions of the organization and team.
