The Outfitters is a specialty outdoor retail business operating two locations in Newfoundland and Labrador since 1998. Our goal is to help our customers get outside more often and spend more time enjoying the outdoors. Whether it\xe2\x80\x99s hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, climbing or walking the dog it\xe2\x80\x99s our mission to better prepare them for the outdoors to be enjoyed as much as possible. We are searching for a bicycle mechanic that is as comfortable selling bicycles as they are servicing them. Someone who excels at customer service. Someone with a willingness to learn and build skills as a technician. Because you will be constantly speaking with customers to evaluate issues, recommend repairs and shop for a new bike. As a salesperson in a specialty outdoor store, you may find yourself helping someone shop for their first bike or help to outfit them for the backpacking trip of a lifetime. The successful candidate will be an all-around bike enthusiast. You should feel comfortable talking with people about mountain, road, gravel, triathlon, e-bike and youth bicycles. A keen interest in the latest and greatest in the world of cycling and a contagious energy to sway others to take up the sport.
