We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Banquet Manager to oversee execution of Freehand Catering operations. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering services for events of various sizes, ensuring exceptional service, and client satisfaction.



What you will be doing:



Collaborating with Directors and Managers to understand event requirements; Coordinating logistics - including staffing, smallware's, and venue setup/teardown; Supervising staff during events to ensure smooth execution and high service standards; Serving as the primary point of contact for catering clients during the execution of events; Addressing client feedback and resolving issues promptly and professionally; Training and scheduling catering staff; Fostering a positive, professional, and productive work environment; Managing inventory, ordering, and delivery of food and supplies; Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations; other similar or related duties as required from time to time.

The person we're looking for has:



Proven experience in catering, hospitality, restaurant service, or event management; A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is considered a strong asset; Experience in fine dining or high-end catering is considered an asset; Knowledge of good safety and regularions; Strong organizational and multitasking skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; The ability to lead and motivate a team; The flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
