The Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service and a seamless experience for guests. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing staff, and executing events that meet the highest standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Duties
Plan and coordinate all banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
Supervise banquet staff, providing training and support to ensure high-quality service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
Manage inventory and ordering of supplies necessary for events.
Oversee cash handling procedures during events, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their experience.
Implement safety and food handling protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Skills
Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Experience in bartending and knowledge of beverage service is preferred.
Proficient in food preparation techniques and food handling standards.
Familiarity with cash handling processes within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Background in restaurant management with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and payments.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously during high-pressure situations.
The banquet manager will also be included in the premium tip pool.

Pay: $17.50 per hour
