Standard Auto Works is a trusted name in Manitoba's automotive industry, providing expert repairs and top tier customer service. We are seeking an experienced Service Writer to facilitate smooth operations between customers and technicians while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers, assess their service needs, and document repair requests.
• Provide clear and detailed estimates while explaining necessary repairs.
• Identify opportunities for upselling additional services and maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of service orders, transactions, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely service completion.
• Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and address concerns.
• Maintain a well organized and customer friendly service area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Writer or Advisor.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Sales-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to upselling services.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair and service procedures.
• Experience with Mitchell 1 Manager SE is an asset.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
